I LIKE WHERE WE ARE , when we drive in your car ,
Pixie pulled her jacket tight over her arms as she pushed her window open. The night wasn't chilly, but it wasn't warm, then again she wasn't normal. She was cold in eighty degree weather. Her recently dyed platinum hair fell down her shoulders as she stepped out the window onto her garage roof. She easily hopped off of it and onto the top of the car and then down. She sprinted through her yard to her car that was parked down the street. As usual she unclipped her keys from their hook on her jeans and pulled away from the curb.
The streetlights made a soft glow on the street. Everyone was asleep by now, or almost everyone. Not the vampires at the House of Night. That's where she was headed. They should be up and about by now. She drove through the city of Tulsa, passing late night partiers and drunken idiots as they walked unsteadily down the sidewalk. Pixie shook her head and continued down the road.
When she first came here she thought it would be terrible and she would hate it, but surprisingly she didn't. She rather enjoyed it. She had met some nice people, one in particular had caught her attention from the start. Her emo prince who she was headed to visit. She had called him but he didn't answer and as she checked her sidekick one more time, there were no messages. It was weird he usually called her back. She pulled up beside the south wall as per usual and placed the car in park turning it off. She pushed the door open and climbed out looking at the wall studying it a moment before grabbing her handholds and pulling her small body up.
Many thought that just because she was short she couldn't climb and beat people up, but she could. She got to the top and then jumped to the soft earth on the other side. She scrunched her nose and checked the time on her phone before sliding it in her backpocket. She frowned, well this is lame, she thought frowning. She shoved her hands in her pockets and began walking making her way towards the stables. She sat down behind them picking at the grass blades uninterestedly. She furrowed her brow unknowing of what to do now. She looked around hoping no one found her back here and like ate her or something, well not literally of course. She pulled her knees to her chest and put her chin on it contemplating what to do next.

I've hit the highway And I'm not coming home, I'm gonna drive I'll do it my way I'll call you on the phone when I arrive • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • || OUTFIT || I stood up in the trees, watching the moon and stars. Class had just ended, and of course, I escaped as quick as possible. It's not like I had homework, anyway. Besides, my classes were easy, and all very entertaining. My classes were music, english, the mandatory vamp sociology, drama, and equestrian studies, of course they were based mostly on my interests. I smiled, thinking of Apollo, my Arabian stallion, who would be mine until the day I left the school. He had just as bad as a temper as I did, so we often got into arguements. But still, he obeyed my commands, and we were already close after only a week.
'I see someone, a human,' Wynn, who was perched on my shoulder, told me. We could speak to eachother through our minds, which was one o f my affinities. I could speak to animals, and no one knew but me. They also didn't know I could speak to my parents, who had passed away. I guessed it was because they were close to me, and that I could only talk to those close to me. Of course, I had to wait until they wanted to speak to me first.
I looked down to see a little human girl hop the wall and begin walking around. I turned to look at her a little more. "I'm going down to talk to her," I said to Wynn, who, as my complete opposite, opposed.
'I don't think we should...' Wynn whimpered. Typical Wynn, she was always so shy. Which is probably why we clicked so well, we balanced eachother out. I sighed and hopped down, ignoring Wynn's pleads. Wynn immediately scampered back up the tree. 'I'll wait here for you, 'kay?' She called down to me and I nodded back before going over to the girl.
I flashed a smile, being more social than usual. I was never social, only when comfortable with someone. Then I was completely outgoing. Except with guys, of course. "You shouldn't be here, you know. Don't worry, we don't eat people," I said, "I'm Viv." I looked down at the pretty blond. It was hard to believe she wasn't a fledgling, she was awful pretty for a human. Oh well, I didn't really care. I flipped my black hair, complete with pink and blue extention streaks, back over my shoulder where it belonged and continued to give her a curious gaze.

I LIKE WHERE WE ARE , when we drive in your car ,
Pixie leaned back against the wall of the stables thinking with a glazed over look in her eyes. She sighed and twisted a piece of hair around her finger with a frown. She looked up as someone came near her. She looked up at the girl who towered over her. To Pixie it was as if everyone who came near her was like a monster or something and she just a small little child. She glanced up with her greyish eyes studying the other girl. The mark on her head dignifying her as a vampyre. A smirk played on Pixie's lips. "I know you don't." She told her in response to her words about not eating people. "I have every right to be here." She told her glancing upwards. She did though. She wanted to see the one person who cared in her life.
Pixie watched her a moment before turning away. 'Damn everyone who has to be so pretty.' She hissed to the voices in her head. It sucked for her not being able to see him everyday, because one minute he could be wanting her and the next minute he could fall for one of these vampyric bitches, and that killed her more than anything on the inside. Torn between two things, she just wished he hadn't of been marked. She pulled her dark pink biker jacket tighter around her and glanced up from beneath blackened makeup covered eyes. "I'm Pixie." She told her with a soft smile.
The night was dark as she looked up at the night sky. Her bangs fell across her eyes but she just pushed them away with long and bony fingers. The stars were twinkling high above and every so often a cloud would flutter by blocking the sliver of the crescent moon. Her eyes scanned the large well that cast a shadow over her and watched as the wind fluttered the leaves on the tree tops whose branches clung to the wall. She had always been an observer probably always would be and that's what she was doing now, observing.
Pixie glanced at the girl out of the corner of her eyes. She had black hair and bright green eyes. It made Pixie feel ugly. She picked at the grass that lay beneath her and tried to think of something else to say. She leaned her chin on her knees as she thought closing her eyes a minute. She squeezed them shut thinking hard before letting her dark lashes flutter open to look up at the girl. "So how are you?" She asked tilting her head and letting her eyes just scan revealing nothing of the internal struggle within her or the feeling that she had to force her words through her teeth. She was just trying to start simple conversation so that maybe the girl wouldn't go run off to anyone about her being here.

rain, rain, go away come again another dayall the world is waiting for theSUN A gentle smile played on my face as she responded. "Well, normally humans assume we eat people and such. Obviously you know a fledgling here," I said with a bit of a smirk. I went and leaned on the stable wall, thinking for a moment. "Nice to meet you. Oh, I'm the usual. The depressed, bored usual. How about you?" I said with a sigh and a smile. She looked like the kind of person who would understand the depression. I wasn't going to mention why, though.
I thought for a moment about all the reasons why I was the way I was. My parents' death, bully experiences, basically my entire life being hell, that kind of thing tends to make people go a little depressed. Well, maybe a hell of a lot depressed, but I was a good actress. My mom always did call me a drama queen. Well, she still did. Yeah, she talked to me. I had an affinity for talking to dead people, and animals. I must sound absoultely crazy when I tell the rare person I hear voices in my head. Like that mattered, though, I was a bit insane. I didn't care what people thought about me anymore either. ~Credits~~Layout: by Hailz ~Lyrics: Rain - Breaking Benjamin ~Music: Anything country ~Word Count: 204 (which is pretty pathetic for me) ~Notes: Sorry it took me so long!
